Monopoly Boise Edition will be available this Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 8 a.m. at the Boise Metro Chamber Gift Shop and Visit Boise Information Center (conveniently located within the Chamber's headquarters at 1101 W. Front St., Suite 100, Boise, Idaho 83702). The game is priced at $40 and you can get an extra 10% off that on First Thursdays. In February 2023, Top Trumps USA announced they would be creating a Boise version of the popular game, and asked residents for feedback nominating locations they'd like to see featured. The Boise Metro Chamber and Visit Boise supported the endeavor. At that time, the Chamber's president Emeritus, Bill Connors said, “A Boise version of the beloved MONOPOLY game is a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together, and it is a reflection of the vibrancy of our city. From the Greenbelt to the Foothills and everything in between, let’s work together to make this game emblematic of what it means to live and work in the City of Trees.” Both the Boise Metro Chamber and Visit Boise are featured on the center area of the Boise Monopoly game board. Top Trumps USA website offers the following description of the game:
Welcome to The City of Trees, beautiful Boise, Idaho. Whatever kind of entertainment suits you, this Boise edition of MONOPOLY, the classic board game, has it all. Enjoy a summer day strolling The Boise River Greenbelt as you stop by the picturesque parks that make up The Ribbon of Jewels. If you're a water lover, lose your shoes and grab an inner tube, and float the Boise River, with a life jacket of course! If two wheels are your thing, race down any of the numerous mountain bike trails maintained by Boise Parks and Recreation. Did we say two wheels? Head on over to High Desert Harley-Davidson and check out all the latest models, and zoom uphill to the mountains while enjoying the postcard-worthy sunsets the Treasure Valley is known for. Grab dinner at Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery, then head on down to Zoo Boise and say hello to the giraffes! If watching live sports is your thing, Boise has you covered with sporting venues and events dotting the city all year round, but be sure to do your part to help Boise stay beautiful, by taking public transportation with Valley Regional Transit. Pick up Chance and Community Chest cards for unexpected prizes and penalties, but watch out for those tax spaces! Whether you're a local or just visiting, now's the perfect time to explore all that this beautiful city has to offer, with the Boise edition of MONOPOLY. Key Features

VIP Photos with Ashley Campbell During Boise Metro Chamber's 140th Annual Gala in October 202310/24/2023 On the night of October 19, 2023, some guests of the Boise Metro Chamber's 140th Annual Gala had the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with musician Ashley Campbell, daughter of Glen Campbell, who was the event's keynote speaker. Ashley had a close connection to her father throughout their life, and became especially close while being his caretaker during his battle with Alzheimer's. Ashley and her mother have become spokeswomen helping to raise awareness about Alzheimer's, which she spoke about during the night of the Chamber's Gala. She shared tender moments about touring with him and his time in care at Abe's Garden. A fundraiser during the event helped raise $10,000 for the Alzheimer's Association - Greater Idaho Chapter.
