In a dazzling celebration of both music and philanthropy, the Boise Metro Chamber's 140th Annual Gala took center stage, and it was nothing short of a legendary evening. The spotlight shone on Ashley Campbell, the talented daughter of the iconic Glen Campbell, as she mesmerized the audience with her extraordinary banjo skills. Ashley spent three years touring with her father and showcasing her talent while also caring for him during his battle with Alzheimer’s disease on and off stage. The twang of her strings filled the room, leaving attendees in awe of her remarkable talent. The Gala, attended by the Who's Who of Idaho, managed to raise a whopping $10,000 for the Alzheimer's Association – Greater Idaho Chapter, making it an event that won both hearts and minds. The Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Idaho Chapter supports those in Idaho not only fighting this disease but their family and support system while offering a broad range of programs and services.
Beyond the incredible musical performance, the Gala was a delightful blend of laughter, networking, and giving back to the community. It was a night to remember and commemorate those whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer’s. The esteemed Governor, Brad Little, was among the distinguished guests, emphasizing the event's significance. The evening saw a changing of the guard for the Boise Metro Chamber, as it welcomed Bobbi-Jo Meuleman as its new President & CEO, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization. The Boise Metro Chamber's 140th Annual Gala represented a harmony of sensational music, noble giving, and the forging of new beginnings. With Ashley Campbell's banjo melodies echoing in the hearts of attendees, and the torch of leadership being passed, the gala served as a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the magic of music in making a difference. We would like to thank our diamond sponsor, Blue Cross of Idaho, our platinum sponsor, Alaska Airlines, and our gold sponsors, Albertsons and Idaho Central Credit Union, for their generosity and support. Without them, this event would not be possible.
