Some of our favorite Chamber Members (who are we kidding, we love 'em all!) were slinging their wares at the Business After Hours Tradeshow on April 25, 2024, hosted by One Stone. Located at 1151 W. Miller St, in Boise, ID, One Stone is a "student-led and -directed nonprofit that makes students better leaders and the world a better place." The school provides an environment for high schoolers to be empowered to learn and practice skills that prepare them for the modern world and their future careers. The "curriculum" focuses on experiential service, innovative initiatives, social entrepreneurship, and the radical reinvention of learning. One Stone Alumn, Ana Robin, says, "One Stone has by far been one of the most influential experiences of my life. I discovered a passion for service and experienced first-hand the impact a single group of high school students can make on a community. Throughout my time in One Stone, I grew as a leader and a team member." Those interested in learning more about One Stone can visit their website at https://onestone.org/ Thank you to One Stone for hosting, and to following Boise Metro Chamber Members who had booths at the Tradeshow!

The Boise Metro Chamber welcomed a sold-out crowd of Idaho's top CEOs, elected officials, esteemed local leaders, and members of the business community to the Annual Leadership Conference at the Sun Valley Resort during April 21-23, 2024. Each year, the conference focuses on the current landscape and potential solutions for matters impacting our state. This year’s agenda explored “Energy in Idaho” through thought-provoking sessions and engaging panel discussions with the industry's top executives.
Attendees gained exclusive insights, cultivated invaluable connections, and participated in the transformative two-and-a-half-day experience. View the 2024 Leadership Conference Agenda and speaker's bios here. The first Start-Ups and Suds event of 2024 was a great success with over 50 people in attendance! Start-Ups and Suds gives local startup companies exposure and the ability to promote their company with the help of our sponsors and a host brewery. At the April 2nd event, Boise Metro Chamber member Fresh Clothes was the featured startup and Boise Brewing hosted the event (and bought everyone in attendance their first beer!). Fresh Clothes is a laundry services company that offers a weekly subscription. They pride themselves in having the laundry back to you clean and folded all in the same day! This successful event would not be possible without the support of Boise Metro Chamber’s sponsors. The presenting sponsor of Start-Ups and Suds is Perkins Coie. Perkins Coie offers an array of legal services, including mergers & acquisitions, real estate, and general business needs. The event co-sponsor is Zion’s Bank and the exclusive airline sponsor of this event series is Delta Airlines. This event series occurs once per quarter. Keep an eye on the Boise Metro Chamber events calendar so you don’t miss the next one!
