Each summer, we host the Boise Metro Chamber Annual Golf Classic. The 25th annual tournament was a full flight of 144 Chamber member players. Participants competed in four-player teams and played a full round of 18 holes. There were prizes for the bullseye, closest-to-the-pin contests, hole-in-one competitions, longest-drive contests, and more. Sponsors had booths at each green and there were also three sponsored beverage stations. Registrants received free access to the driving range, 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, breakfast, free beverages, a buffet-style lunch, and a complimentary gift bag. Photos from the event are below, followed by a video recap of this sold-out event! The WINNERS of awards at the 25th Annual Golf Classic are:

To wrap up Operation Thank You, the Boise Metro Chamber held the seventh Business After Hours of the year at Sunwest Bank located at 1299 N. Orchard St., Ste. 100, Boise, from 5-7 p.m. Everyone enjoyed complimentary drinks and food to celebrate the success of the day. 145 boxes were delivered and 76 volunteers plus five staff members helped distribute the packets. The names of those who delivered packets were put into a drawing for gift cards ranging from restaurant to window cleaning to other Chamber member business services!
Thank you everyone! On July 27, 2023 over 70 volunteers and staff arrived at the Boise Metro Chamber Headquarters to help deliver over 1,900 packets for our annual Operation Thank You event. It is all about thanking our members in person for their support, delivering our new Spotlight Magazines/membership directories, and building new contacts. President and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, Bill Connors, shared that, “There are about 6,000 Chambers of Commerce in the United States and we are the only one that tries to hand deliver these thank you packets!”
Without sponsors, volunteers, and staff coming together, Operation Thank You would not be possible. The Chamber is grateful to all of those who took time out of their busy schedules to help make this event a success.
Heather Chambers, Vice President and Western Idaho Division Manager at WaFd Bank spoke to the audience as well as Scott Sailor, General Manager for Idaho Records Management and Craig Hill for Panera Bread. The following teams showed up in force:
Including the 1900+ Spotlight Magazines being delivered, 15,000 of the directories were printed and will be distributed throughout the region and state this coming year. |
