BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS TO THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY
Boise State University President, Dr. Marlene Tromp, will review the university’s accomplishments from the previous school year and comment on future developments.

STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS
This event is one of the Chamber’s largest. The Boise mayor will present the
State of the City Address to the business community, reviewing the past year and outlining initiatives for the coming year. PROJECTED ATTENDANCE: 500 |

BVEP ECONOMIC SUMMIT
Speakers will address important economic issues currently facing the business
community and offer forecasts on the future economic climate. This event is produced by the Boise Valley Economic Partnership. PROJECTED ATTENDANCE: 550 |

SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR & CHAMBER EXCELLENCE AWARDS
The Chamber celebrates the importance of small business during the annual Small Business of the Year and Chamber Excellence Awards. At the luncheon, local businesses will be recognized in seven industries including small business, nonprofit, health care, finance, travel, food ag and tech.

BOISE METRO CHAMBER ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
The Chamber hosts a golf classic each summer at The River Club. The event, with a field of 144 players, features Hole-in-One, Long-Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin competitions in a four-person scramble format.

GOVERNOR’S ADDRESS TO THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY
The governor reviews the major business issues facing the state, including a review of the economy, tax policy, education, transportation, and government services.

BOISE METRO CHAMBER ANNUAL GALA AND AUCTION
The Annual Gala & Auction is one of the largest of its kind in the Treasure Valley. The proceeds ensure the Chamber’s ability to continue advocating for policies impacting business, educating its members, and developing leaders to benefit and enrich our community. The evening features networking, a silent and live auction, dinner, entertainment and a keynote speaker.

The Holiday Reception with Elected Officials is a popular event for business leaders and our local, state, and federal elected officials. The attendees will have the opportunity to network and socialize with recognized officials.
