With an in-person auction, live auction, and mobile auction offering hundreds of items, the Boise Metro Chamber’s Annual Gala & Auction is one of the largest of its kind in the Treasure Valley. It serves as the Chamber’s most essential annual fundraiser.

​The proceeds ensure the Chamber’s ability to continue advocating for policies impacting business, educating its members, and developing leaders to benefit and enrich our community.

OUR ANNUAL AUCTION

The mobile auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and one of the largest of its kind in the Treasure Valley. Every year, dozens of Chamber members and Idaho businesses donate exceptional items that you can bid on right from the comfort of your own home! The mobile auction typically opens about two weeks before the Gala, so be sure to come back and check out this year's selection of incredible trips and items!

NON-PROFIT BENEFICIARY: LOCAL NON PROFIT FINE ARTS ORGANIZATIONS

For this year's gala, the Boise Metro Chamber is turning the spotlight to our incredible local talent; specifically the Treasure Valley’s fine arts non-profits. ​In addition to the auction and performances, Andy Scoggin, CEO of Scoggin Capital Investment, will offer insight to the correlation between a healthy economy and support for the Treasure Valley’s creative community. Erin Anderson of the Idaho Botanical Garden, Inc. will join Laura Kendall of the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts to emcee this year’s gala.

Idaho Botanical Garden, Inc.
Erin excels in program management, fundraising, leadership development, and strategic visioning. She has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and has held key roles in numerous organizations. She is dedicated to Boise's community, and has received several awards, including Idaho Business Review’s Women of the Year. Erin enjoys gardening, hiking, and family time.

LAURA KENDALL
Velma V. Morrison Center, Executive Director
With over 20 years in arts management, Laura Kendall has led renowned organizations like Omaha Performing Arts. She holds advanced degrees in Marketing and Theatre and serves on boards including the Broadway League Board of Governors. Kendall is Idaho’s only Tony voter and speaks nationally on arts presenting.

Andy Scoggin is a seasoned executive with 27 years of experience at Albertsons Companies, where he played a key role in transforming the company into one of the nation’s largest retailers. As CEO of Scoggin Capital Investment and an Operating Partner at StageDotO, he is passionate about fostering creativity in Idaho by investing in local organizations and venues, believing that such support attracts entrepreneurs and knowledge workers, thereby enhancing the broader community. With a background in law, operations, and investment, Scoggin excels in guiding startups and is deeply committed to the unique work ethic and community spirit of Idaho.​

IDAHO SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL - SCHOOL OF THEATER

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival operates the School of Theater which offers anywhere between 25-28 drama classes each year to children aged 3 and up. These classes range in subject matter from musicals to Shakespeare -based offerings to teaching the skills necessary to perform the works of Shakespeare and beyond.

OINKARI BASQUE DANCERS

The Oinkari Basque Dancers have been together for sixty years and counting. Composed of dancers in their early teens to mid-thirties (all of Basque descent), the group performs traditional Basque dances from several different provinces of the Basque country. All are volunteers who dance in the group to maintain our cultural ties while sharing their Basque culture with others.

2023 ANNUAL GALA FEATURING ASHLEY CAMPBELL

NON-PROFIT DONATION: THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION - GREATER IDAHO CHAPTER
The 2023 Gala theme was "Alzheimer's Awareness." Ashley Campbell, the talented daughter of the iconic Glen Campbell, was the keynote speaker. She shared about the bittersweet experience of touring with her father after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She helped him remember the lyrics to songs and spoke about the power of music in his life, long after he forgot who he was. She played banjo and sang, share a tribute video video of her father, and raised awareness about the disease. In addition to funds raised for the Chamber's programs, gala attendees raised an extra $10,000 that was donated to The Alzheimer's Association – Greater Idaho Chapter.

2022 ANNUAL GALA FEATURING FIVE FOR FIGHTING FRONT MAN JOHN ONDRASIK - OCTOBER 20, 2022 @BOISE CENTRE WEST
NON-PROFIT DONATION: Relief Efforts in Ukraine
The 2022 Boise Metro Chamber Gala featured Five for Fighting frontman John Ondrasik, who performed several songs to a sold-out crowd. His original song dedicated to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, "Can One Man Save the World?" inspired attendees to contribute to the important cause. A portion of the proceeds from the gala was donated to relief efforts in Ukraine: $14,410 in total. We wish to thank everyone who attended and all who partnered with us to make these valuable contributions to a country in crisis.

2020 ANNUAL GALA FEATURING KEYNOTE GARTH CALLAGHAN
OCTOBER 15, 2020 @BOISE CENTRE WEST
​In 2020, the Boise Metro Chamber hosted its 137th Annual Boise Metro Chamber Gala and Live Auction virtually. It was streamed from the Boise Centre. Along with a great message from our keynote speaker, Garth Callaghan, there was a live auction. Garth Callaghan discussed being diagnosed with cancer four times and not knowing what the future holds. He shared the meaning of the handwritten notes he vowed to write and place in his daughter, Emma's, lunchbox each day until she graduates from high school.
