Advocating for economic growth and prosperity.
The Boise Metro Chamber is a strong and credible voice in the business community and local and state legislature. Together, with our Board of Directors and committees, we advocate to elected officials on business and community issues that impact our region, Boise's quality of life, and the cost of doing business.
Chamber Supports Water Renewal Bond
BOISE, Idaho (Nov. 1, 2021) - Due to the continual growth of Boise, and the stress that brings on our aging infrastructure, the Chamber supports the Boise Water Renewal Bond. The bond is a vote on how to pay for previously approved water/sewer projects. A yes vote will allow the city to rely on debt financing to improve an infrastructure that has met the end of its useful life. Debt financing allows a gradual and predictable increase of utility costs, instead of a 53% increase in utility rates next year. More information can be found at http://cleanaffordablewaterboise.com.
