The Boise Metro Chamber’s Business After Hours, held May 28, 2026, offered an unforgettable evening of connection and creativity hosted at the Inn at 500 Capitol with Hemlock. Attendees gathered in the stunning second-floor event space and rooftop plaza, where thoughtful hospitality met vibrant networking energy.

Guests enjoyed chef-driven bites from Hemlock, the boutique fine dining steakhouse known for blending timeless elegance with modern culinary innovation. Highlights included handcrafted cocktails and a playful Mash-tini bar, where attendees built their own savory creations topped with bacon, chives, sour cream, and more.

The evening also embraced Boise’s signature spirit of fun with activities like spud stacking, potato car races, s selfie cam, and networking bingo—bringing laughter and friendly competition to the event.

Special remarks from Hemlock President and Co-Owner, Scott Slater, and Inn at 500 General Manager Adam Altwies showcased the success and vision behind this elevated dining and hotel experience. With its refined atmosphere and bold culinary approach, Hemlock continues to redefine the classic steakhouse while celebrating Boise’s rich heritage.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our February Business After Hours trade show hosted by the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse. We appreciated the strong turnout and the chance for members to connect, learn about local businesses and build new relationships.

The Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse is a community facility designed to support athletes, youth programs and adaptive recreation. The Fieldhouse offers training space, educational programs and resources that make outdoor and athletic opportunities more accessible. Its mission focuses on helping Idahoans of all abilities stay active, develop new skills and engage with the outdoors in meaningful ways.

There are many ways to support or get involved with the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse. Community members can volunteer, attend programs and events or contribute to initiatives that expand access for youth and adaptive athletes. Businesses can partner with the Fieldhouse through sponsorships, facility use or community collaborations that strengthen recreational opportunities in the region.
