Boise Young Professionals and the Sawtooth Society teamed up again June 23-26 for trail rehabilitation operations in the Sawtooth Mountains. Volunteers from Boise Young Professionals help keep Sawtooth mountain trails accessible to the public through its annual Sawtooth Trail Cleanup, one of BYP's b|involved events. Volunteers got the opportunity to hike in the Sawtooth Mountains while utilizing cross-cut saws and other handheld tools to clear the trails.

Benefiting the Crew of the USS Boise SSN-764 The USS Boise (SSN-764) is a Los Angeles Class Fast Attack Submarine, stationed in Norfolk, VA. The USS Boise was launched in November 1992 and is currently undergoing maintenance to extend its life of service well into the future. The submarine has a crew of approximately 130 officers and enlisted sailors. The purpose of this Golf Event is to raise money for the crew’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) fund. This is a means for the residents of Boise, Idaho to give back to those who are serving on the City’s namesake warship. This will be the first time this event is held, and the intention is to make it an annual event. The USS Boise Committee is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit entity and is arranging this event. THE PROCEEDS OF THIS EVENT WILL GO TO THE CREW’S MWR FUND Sponsorship: We are planning on an event with 100-108 golfers (with an entry fee of $100 per golfer). To make this a great success, we are actively looking for about 20+ Sponsors to supplement the cost of golf, food, and prizes. We are looking for the following:
