Monopoly Boise Edition will be available this Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 8 a.m. at the Boise Metro Chamber Gift Shop and Visit Boise Information Center (conveniently located within the Chamber's headquarters at 1101 W. Front St., Suite 100, Boise, Idaho 83702). The game is priced at $40 and you can get an extra 10% off that on First Thursdays. In February 2023, Top Trumps USA announced they would be creating a Boise version of the popular game, and asked residents for feedback nominating locations they'd like to see featured. The Boise Metro Chamber and Visit Boise supported the endeavor. At that time, the Chamber's president Emeritus, Bill Connors said, “A Boise version of the beloved MONOPOLY game is a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together, and it is a reflection of the vibrancy of our city. From the Greenbelt to the Foothills and everything in between, let’s work together to make this game emblematic of what it means to live and work in the City of Trees.” Both the Boise Metro Chamber and Visit Boise are featured on the center area of the Boise Monopoly game board.

 The most popular board game in the world, has announced its best edition yet: Monopoly Boise Edition! (OK, we may be a little biased that it's the best edition yet.) The Boise Metro Chamber is very excited that Boise was selected as one of a small group of only 25 cities chosen to have their own version of the board game. "It's a chance to show off the coolest city in the western United States," said Boise Metro Chamber President & CEO Bill Connors at the official announcement ceremony held in the Grove Plaza on Wednesday, February 8th. The event was streamed live on the Boise Metro Chamber Facebook page. Between now and October 1st, Boise residents can suggest which locations they would like to see featured on the board by submitting it to the official Boise MONOPOLY email: [email protected]. Top Trumps, manufacturers of the official Boise version of MONOPOLY under license from global branded entertainment leader Hasbro, say the game will be on shelves starting in October of this year. Aaron Green, a representative from Top Trumps, said: “We want to ensure that the MONOPOLY: Boise Edition is an accurate portrayal of what locals love about their city, so we would love for everyone to get on board and send us their recommendations of what they would like to see included.
