Boise Monopoly Game is Coming to the Boise Chamber Gift Shop This Fall!

The most popular board game in the world, has announced its best edition yet: Monopoly Boise Edition!

(OK, we may be a little biased that it's the best edition yet.) The Boise Metro Chamber is very excited that Boise was selected as one of a small group of only 25 cities chosen to have their own version of the board game. "It's a chance to show off the coolest city in the western United States," said Boise Metro Chamber President & CEO Bill Connors at the official announcement ceremony held in the Grove Plaza on Wednesday, February 8th. The event was streamed live on the Boise Metro Chamber Facebook page.

Between now and October 1st, Boise residents can suggest which locations they would like to see featured on the board by submitting it to the official Boise MONOPOLY email: [email protected].

​Top Trumps, manufacturers of the official Boise version of MONOPOLY under license from global branded entertainment leader Hasbro, say the game will be on shelves starting in October of this year. Aaron Green, a representative from Top Trumps, said: “We want to ensure that the MONOPOLY: Boise Edition is an accurate portrayal of what locals love about their city, so we would love for everyone to get on board and send us their recommendations of what they would like to see included. Everything is up for consideration – Bogus Basin, BSU Broncos, Camel’s Back Park, the Greenbelt; we want to know your Boise favorites that must be on the board – so please get involved!”
