Our very own Bill Connors and Sierra White were recently announced as honorees of two prestigious awards given by the Idaho Business Review!
Bill Connors to Receive Icon Award Connors, President and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber for 14+ years is one of ten leaders nominated for the 2023 Icon Awards. He has been a strong voice for business’ in Idaho, and has led the way in projects to bring commerce to Idaho. He is set to enjoy a much deserved retirement at the end of 2023. The award is bestowed on Idaho icons, 50 and older, who have helped grow Idaho’s business communities, as well as represent a legacy. Nominees constitute dedication, passion, and accomplishment for their communities. They are pioneers of innovative business within Idaho’s community. Sierra White to Receive an Accomplished Under 40 Award Additionally, Boise Valley Economic Partnership's (BVEP) Director of Strategic Initiatives, Sierra White, was nominated for Accomplished Under 40! The AU40 awards program honors those in the industry, government, and non-profit sectors who are leaders of today. To be considered for this award, honorees must be nominated by the community as a whole. Then, they are judged on their personal background, resume, letters of recommendations, professional achievements, innovative leadership, and community service. About the Event Ceremony Both awards will be celebrated during a single ceremony which unites the generations. It will be held at the Boise Center on June 15th, 2023 at 5:30pm.
