Liza Roeser, Founder and CEO of FiftyFlowers, spoke at the Boise Metro Chamber’s CEO Speaker Series. She told us about how she started the business, which is now a multi-million dollar company, based here in Boise. Liza, known as “The Flower CEO,” showed photos of the beautiful arrangements FiftyFlowers has created for weddings, special events, and even the Miss Universe pageant. She mentioned that she now supplies flowers for about 2,000 weddings per week! Liza talked about how the COVID-19 pandemic brought a lot of fear, as the business landscape quickly changed for her booming company. But Liza took advice from Brene Brown, and chose courage over comfort. She innovated new ideas during the pandemic, including a campaign to “Save the Growers” and DIY flower arrangement classes. Liza’s story is inspiring. We were delighted to hear her speak today. This event could not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. The Ribbon Cutting & Open House for the Boise Metro Chamber Gift Shop & Visit Boise Information Center was a huge success! We are so grateful for all of those who came to help us celebrate this awesome new resource. A beautiful charcuterie display was prepared by Boise Metro Chamber member Nosh, presented by Boise Bite.
