November 21, 2023: During a Congressional Forum, presented by Meta today, United States Senator Jim Risch delivered an address to a sold-out crowd at the Riverside Hotel. Prior to the forum, Senator Risch led a private meeting with interested members of the Boise Metro Chambers Board and Board of Advisors. During the luncheon, Senator Risch gave insights into his time spent as senior Republican on the multiple committees he serves on. The committees he currently serves on are the:
Each of these committees oversees the well-being of millions of Americans but directly affects Idahoans as well. Senator Risch not only represents Idaho’s interests within these committees but serves as a voice in legislation that shapes the development of the western United States. Boise Metro Chamber Members who joined in the past few months were invited to an exclusive event at The Arid Club in which Chamber CEO and President, Bobbi-Jo Meuleman personally welcomed them to the organization. Attendees had a chance to network with their peers who were also newly minted Chamber members as well as the Chamber's Board of Directors and Board of Advisors during the Chamber's President's Reception for New Members. The event occurs quarterly and is presented by Bank of Idaho and sponsored by Delta Air Lines and State Farm Juliet Blick Agency. This quarter's new Boise Metro Chamber members include:
Boise Metro Chamber’s November Business After Hours, hosted by Chamber member Bank of Idaho11/9/2023 Around 50 Chamber members and non-members gathered at The Bank of Idaho's W. Main Street branch in downtown Boise, Idaho on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 for the Boise Metro Chambers Business After Hours event series. Hors d'oeuvres were served by 3 Girls Catering and unlimited free beverages were served by Telaya Wine Co. The Boise business networking event is just one of the Boise Metro Chamber's valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues the Treasure Valley.
During the event, attendees heard from the Bank of Idaho's Commercial Lending Manager and Vice President, Charlie Kouba. He spoke about the bank's commitment to people and shared the mic with three of the bank's members. Each member testified to their outstanding experiences with Bank of Idaho, citing times the Bank of Idaho served them when other banks were not willing, and about bank's white glove service. Business After Hours is the Chamber's monthly networking event designed for members and non-members to socialize and learn more about businesses in the Treasure Valley. Attendees are not required to RSVP for the event which is hosted at different member location each month. As a benefit to Chamber members the event is free. Non-members are also welcome with a $20 entry fee at the door. |
