Treasure Valley Businesses Invited to Participate in 2nd Annual Media Career & Networking Fair2/23/2024
Boise State University will host its 2nd annual Media Career and Networking Fair at the Boise State University Student Union Building Jordan Ballroom (1700 W University Dr, Boise, ID 83725) March 12, 2024 from 11am - 2pm. This event is designed for companies who have positions focused on communications, public relations, video production, content creation and other media-related fields.
For companies wanting to participate, they may sign up using the event registration form. The deadline to register is February 28th. There is no cost to participate. “Providing an opportunity for area businesses who have a need for communications and media professionals is important for Treasure Valley workforce development.” Said Cindy Miller, event organizer. “Students discover a variety of possible career paths by meeting and talking with local business representatives, and this event reinforces the connection the university has with the local community.” Participation is expected to double from last year's event which attracted over 200 students in 2023. For more information, contact [email protected].  Help support Centennial High School Softball. Join them for a Daddy Daughter Dance on Sunday, February 25th from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Girls 18 and under can attend with their father figure and enjoy dancing, activities, and snacks. Concessions sales will be available as well.

Throughout the 90-day event, passholders will receive any number of fantastic discounts (discounts totaling $370 value), which vary from winery to winery. Examples of discounts within the passport include: Free Tasting Flight, Half off Tastings, Free Tasting with Bottle Purchase, Case of Wine Discount, Free Appetizer with Bottle Purchase, and Free Glass with Bottle Purchase. At the end of the program, if passholders have visited and received a stamp from all participating wineries, they will be able to pick from their choice of prizes at Famici Wine Company (open Fri-Sun 12-5pm).
Participating wineries include: Duning Estates, Famici Wine Co., Free Dog Wines, Fujishin Estate Winery, Hat Ranch Winery, Hells Canyon Winery, Huston Vineyards, Indian Creek Winery, Kerry Hill Winery, Kindred Vineyards, Koenig Vineyards, Parma Ridge Winery, Sawtooth Estate Winery, Scoria Vineyards, Ste Chapelle, Veer Wine Project, Vizcaya Winery, Williamson Orchards & Vineyards.
