Please join the Boise Metro Chamber for our final Legislative Update of the year, sponsored by Optum. We will be joined by Senate Majority and Minority Caucus Chairs, Mark Harris (R) and Janie Ward-Engelking (D); as well as House Majority and Minority Caucus Chairs, Megan Blanksma (R) and Sally J. Toone (D). Jennifer Swindell, Chair of the chamber’s Education and Workforce Committee to discuss the progress made on education this session and other issues. Chamber Education and Workforce Committee Chair Jennifer Swindell will host alongside our Senior Director of Government & Community Affairs, Jeremy Field.

Join the Boise Metro Chamber for our 3rd Legislative Update this session, brought to you by Optum and AT&T. We will be visiting with members of the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee about their duties, challenges, and opportunities as they analyze available revenue and state agency budget requests in order to set a balanced state budget. 2022 presents unique opportunities because of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law on Nov 5th, 2021. With Idaho’s state budget surplus, these funds provide Idaho the chance to address a variety of long-standing issues.
