Sales Account Manager, Full-Time
The Boise Metro Chamber has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Account Manager. This position will be responsible for selling the products, benefits, programs and services of the chamber to non-member and existing member firms. The ideal candidate will be thoroughly committed to the Chamber’s mission: "The Chamber strives to be the region’s most effective advocate for a vibrant economy and outstanding quality of life.” All candidates should have proven sales experience, membership experience and excellent communication skills. Experience and other qualifications include:
• Ability to cultivate relationships with existing members.
• Experience in organizational management with the ability to manage a large and involved membership base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be a self-motivated, persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and set goals.
• Experience in a non-profit or similar environment is preferred.
• Preferred Candidate will have the ability to work flexible hours and understand a membership driven organization.
• Ability to use a web based client management system.
• Basic Excel skills required.
• Auction/Event fundraising experience would be an asset.
Requires Associate’s degree from college or technical school and 2 years of experience in outside sales. Requires a valid driver’s license and vehicle with insurance.
Base salary plus commission structure.
