WHAT IS SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY?

Small Business Saturday is a national initiative that is dedicated to supporting the local businesses in our communities that create jobs, boost the economy, and preserve neighborhoods around the country. Placed between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday drives shoppers to local, independently-owned merchants.

This year marks 15 years of the event which was created in response to small business owners' most pressing need: more customers. Let’s come together and make this Small Business Saturday a success for our community!​

We love small businesses! That's why we're teaming up with Downtown Boise Association, AMEX, and Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) this month to help promote National Small Business Saturday on November 30th, 2024.

Studies across the nation have shown that when individuals shop small, the money spent in the community stays in the community, helping local businesses grow, creating jobs, and paving the way for future opportunities right here at home.
