Vista Ave., Ste. 100, Boise, ID 83705 Who will receive these care packages? Local children (grades K-12) who are experiencing homelessness. What? These care packages are filled to the brim with grab-and-go type foods and hygiene items (food stamps cannot buy these) and are assembled by volunteers. We deliver the care packages directly to the school nurses, counselors, and coordinators who notify us of the children’s needs. Each year, United Way serves the 3,500 children who fall into this category through a wide variety of programs and services including Holiday Helper. A job fair will take place on Saturday, October 12th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the downtown sales office located at 2600 N. Bogus Basin Road. This event will provide prospective employees the opportunity to explore job openings, meet hiring managers, and learn about the benefits of joining the Bogus Basin team. “Bogus Basin offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where employees can help create enjoyable guest experiences. We provide a supportive workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork and community engagement. About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three people-mover carpets, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport.
