HOW DID CHAMBER DAY AT BOGUS BASIN BEGIN?
In 2013, Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area was struggling after several years of lacking snowfall. The Boise Metro Chamber rallied it's members and the community for a day of support that February. Since then, it's become a fun, annual tradition providing Chamber-members and local businesses with the opportunity to support this valuable community asset and network with fellow Chamber members in a nontraditional business setting.

What happens if there isn't much snow the day of the event?
This event is a fundraiser rooted in supporting Bogus Basin, especially during winter seasons when snow is slower. If this occurs during a given year, our event will still be held and Chamber members are encouraged to attend to show support, get out of the office for a day, appreciate nature & the views above the clouds/inversion, and network while enjoying the offerings of the lodge and a drink, lunch and appetizers provided during the event. In addition, our Annual Boise Metro Chamber Day at Bogus Basin provides one of the most accessible and affordable ways to experience Bogus Basin, with discounted lift tickets and rental options available exclusively to Chamber members—making it an ideal day to get on the mountain, try something new, or simply enjoy the atmosphere!
