Developers Announce 152-Room Downtown Hyatt Hotel

PEG Development, in conjunction with Rafanelli & Nehas unveiled plans this morning for Hyatt Place: a 152-room hotel set to be located at 1024 W. Bannock St. in downtown Boise. The project includes a fitness room, a spa, a full bar and meeting space.The hotel's developers have said that construction will take approximately 13 months and is set to begin in early November.

Boise City Council Approves St. Luke’s Downtown Expansion

In a 4-1 vote Tuesday, the Boise City Council approved St. Luke’s expansion of its downtown campus.  The addition of new buildings and remodel of older buildings will allow the hospital to provide state of the art care.  Additionally, it will be an economic development win for the downtown area.  The expansion will create high paying research jobs, healthcare jobs, and construction jobs during the project. 

New Hotel for Downtown Boise

A new multi-million dollar hotel was just unanimously approved by the Boise Planning and Zoning Commission for downtown Boise. The Inn at 500 Capitol will break ground late this summer at the corner of Myrtle and Capitol, and hopes to open its doors in December of 2016.
