Developers Announce 152-Room Downtown Hyatt Hotel

PEG Development, in conjunction with Rafanelli & Nehas unveiled plans this morning for Hyatt Place: a 152-room hotel set to be located at 1024 W. Bannock St. in downtown Boise. The project includes a fitness room, a spa, a full bar and meeting space.The hotel's developers have said that construction will take approximately 13 months and is set to begin in early November.

New Hotel for Downtown Boise

A new multi-million dollar hotel was just unanimously approved by the Boise Planning and Zoning Commission for downtown Boise. The Inn at 500 Capitol will break ground late this summer at the corner of Myrtle and Capitol, and hopes to open its doors in December of 2016.

Transportation Committee Receives Update on Broadway Bridge Replacement Project

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is currently planning for the replacement of the Broadway Avenue Bridge over the Boise River. The bridge, originally built in 1892 and replaced once in 1956, is too narrow for the 24,500 cars that travel across the bridge daily, in addition to pedestrians and bicyclists.
