Boise City Council Approves St. Luke’s Downtown Expansion

In a 4-1 vote Tuesday, the Boise City Council approved St. Luke’s expansion of its downtown campus.  The addition of new buildings and remodel of older buildings will allow the hospital to provide state of the art care.  Additionally, it will be an economic development win for the downtown area.  The expansion will create high paying research jobs, healthcare jobs, and construction jobs during the project. 

Gardner Company Announces Development Plans for Parcel B

The space between Front Street and Myrtle Street in Downtown Boise has been the subject of several proposals over the years. The dirt lot, known as Parcel B, has great potential because of its location, proximity to downtown, and size. Multiple visions for the lot have been proposed, ranging from condos to soccer stadium to hotel. It seems the most likely option will be a hotel, possibly with residential units added down the road. 

Travel Advisory Board Discusses Boise Centre Expansion, Boulder-White Clouds Monument

The Chamber's Travel Industry Advisory Board meeting was hosted by the Boise Centre last week, where attendees listened to a couple of proposals on separate matters affecting the Boise Valley and surrounding areas. 

BMCC CEO Helps Break Ground On Boise Centre Expansion

Ground was officially broken last week on the Gardner Company's Boise Centre expansion project as shovel-wielding, hard hat-wearing executives, including Boise Metro Chamber CEO Bill Connors, helped kick off the project.
