Dutch Bros. Doing Good

Dutch Bros. Coffee, a Chamber member since 2011, has locations all over the Treasure Valley and beyond.  When they aren’t serving up free smiles and a big variety of tasty coffee concoctions, Dutch Bros. works towards a bigger mission.  If you visit their website, you’ll find a list of all the news and events going on in the 200 coffee stand locations.  Most of the news bits are not about grand openings or promotional events, but about charity. 

John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting to Headline Boise Metro Chamber’s 132nd Annual Gala Dinner

The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter John Ondrasik from Five For Fighting will headline the Chamber’s 132nd Annual Gala Dinner on Friday, October 2nd, 2015. Ondrasik, best known for his hits “Superman” and “100 Years”, is an inspirational speaker who moves between podium and piano to create a musical conversation with the audience.

Boise Young Professionals Re-launch Board Training Program

Boise Young Professionals is re-launching a one-of-a-kind board training program designed to connect area professionals with organizations in need of commission, committee, or board support. 
The three-week training program, B|On Board, is designed to help participants identify interests, demystify board service, learn skills needed for service opportunities, and connect with Idaho organizations who are seeking support.

The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce today announced the hiring of Michael Swain as Events & Programs Coordinator for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. Michael will assist with the Boise Young Professionals (BYP) program and major Chamber events.

Leadership Boise Learns About Environment & Infrastructure at November Session

Leadership Boise's November session was held yesterday, November 12 at the University of Idaho Water Center. Entitled "Building Infrastructure Today for a Better Tomorrow", the session featured discussions of the purpose and function of many agencies and organizations responsible for the development of infrastructure and how community leaders cooperate to encourage growth in a managed and sustainable way.

Dine Out Downtown Boise Starts Tonight!

Olympic Gold Medalist Dara Torres Shared Her Triumphant Story at the Chamber’s Gala Dinner

Dara Torres, 5-time Olympian, winner of 12 medals, and author, shared her inspirational story at the Chamber’s 131st Annual Gala Dinner on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014. Torres competed in five Summer Olympic Games, becoming the first U.S. swimmer to ever do so, as well as the oldest swimmer to ever compete at age 41. Over the course of her distinguished career, Torres won twelve Olympic medals, including four gold, four silver, and four bronze.
