An
important activity many new business owner's overlook is the
importance of networking and getting the
"word" out about their new products and
services. The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce has
many events that are designed around meeting new people
and sharing important business information.
Business After Hours
(BAH)
This event, one of the Chamber's most popular, is held
monthly at various local business locations that hosts
the gathering. It is held on Thursday evenings
from 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is a chance to mix and
mingle with other Chamber members in a casual, fun
atmosphere.
This is an ideal event for meeting lots of new people in
a short period of time. Plan on bringing 25-50
business cards with you. Business After Hours is combined with a tabletop trade show
four times a year. It's another chance to
introduce yourself and your business at the event.

New Member Orientation
Each month the Chamber hosts a morning meeting for new
members to introduce them to the Chamber, it's mission
and benefits of membership. This event is open to
all members and is another great way to meet new,
incoming members, as well as meeting existing members
and some of the Chamber staff. Held monthly
in a fun
and informative continental breakfast setting.
What's Up Boise Metro?!
Attend this quarterly event and meet many new people in
organized networking rounds. Learn about exciting
new "happenings" in the Boise Metro Area as we
host a guest speaker for each event and enjoy
cinnamon rolls and coffee. It is the first
Wednesday of each quarter from 7:30-9:00 a.m.
Small Business
Celebration Day
Every June the Boise Metro Chamber dedicates a day to
celebrating the accomplishments of small
businesses. There is a luncheon where 3 to 4 small
businesses are awarded the Boise Chamber Small Business
of the Year award. Additionally, attendees network
at an all day small business trade show where 80 to 90
businesses display their products and services. If
that is still not enough, the day ends with an exciting
Business After Hours!
Various Other Events
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce is one of the most
active Chambers in the nation. We host many large,
and more intimate, events throughout the year.
From the Boise Mayor's State of the City Address, to our
CEO Speaker Series Luncheons, our events attract
business members throughout the Treasure Valley.
These events are held monthly and are always a great
chance to learn more about what is going on in the
community, as well as meeting other Chamber members.
Our calendar is always
full of great trainings, events and networking
