Utilities
Low cost energy is a key
ingredient to successful economic development and
quality of life for those who live and work in the Boise
MSA.
According to the ACCRA* Cost of
Living Index, the cost of utilities in Boise was 13 percent below the national average for the
fourth quarter of 2002. Boise's overall cost of
living was 3.6 percent below the national average. (*ACCRA
is a non-profit organization that surveys cities and
metropolitan areas on a quarterly basis).
