Education
& Workforce
The Education and Workforce Committee brings together business,
education and
government to work together to develop a skilled, diverse
and responsive workforce that will enhance business
profitability and build quality communities. More

& Federal Government
Advocates to elected
officials and government agencies to ensure the
Chamber’s perspective on governmental issues is fully
understood. Detailed research and analysis of issues is
completed in subcommittees.

Government
The Local
Government Committee works with elected officials and
appropriate government agencies to ensure the Chamber’s
perspective on local issues is fully understood.
Although most interaction is with Boise City and
Ada County, the Chamber also works with city officials
from Meridian, Eagle, Garden City and Kuna. More

Transportation
The Transportation
Committees of the Governmental Affairs division of the
Chamber, work to ensure that the Boise area has an
efficient transportation system to facilitate our area’s
economic development, by prioritizing projects needed to
improve our area’s infrastructure.
