Advocates to elected officials and government agencies to ensure the Chamber’s perspective on governmental issues is fully understood. Detailed research and analysis of issues is completed in the four following:

• Analyzes state and federal issues including I.N.E.E.L., environmental legislation and state appropriations.

• Analyzes state and federal tax issues to ensure a positive business climate.

• Analyzes general state and federal business issues that affect area organizations.

• Analyzes worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance, health care and other human resource issues.
