The Cabin Presents Literary Luminary Anthony Doerr
BOISE – As part of the annual literary series, Readings & Conversations, The Cabin welcomes author Anthony Doerr to the Egyptian Theatre, February 12, 2013. Doerr is the award-winning author of four books. His numerous accolades include a Guggenheim Fellowship, a NEA Fellowship, four O. Henry prizes, the 2010 Story Prize and two Pushcart Prizes. The program will begin at 7:30 pm and will be followed by audience questions and a book signing. Tickets are available at the Egyptian Theatre box office and online at egyptiantheatre.net.
ABOUT ANTHONY DOERR
In just over a decade, Boise resident Anthony Doerr has emerged as one of the pre-eminent writers of his generation. He is the author of four books, The Shell Collector, About Grace, Four Seasons in Rome, and Memory Wall, and countless short stories and essays. Numerous awards and honors have been bestowed upon Tony and he is known internationally as a writer of distinction. According to Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love, “Doerr is a gifted and fearless writer.”
Readings & Conversations is celebrating 11 years as Idaho’s premiere annual series presenting internationally acclaimed literary figures who share their work, thoughts about their work, and perspectives on important issues of our time.
