Beautiful Botanicals

Part I: Saturday, January 26

Part II: Saturday, February 2

10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Idaho Botanical Garden Cottage

$30 non-Member; $25 Member. Pre-registration required.

Artist Sharron O’Neil will explore traditional materials and methods of drawing and painting botanicals. The class will explore contemporary artwork by botanical artists that use the same techniques to achieve beautiful results. Students will be guided in observing, drawing, and painting plants. Beginners and experienced artists who are interested in developing skills needed to realistically portray subjects in watercolor will find this class helpful. Participants will need to supply some of their own materials, details given upon registration.

 

 

About Idaho Botanical Garden:

Idaho Botanical Garden is open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.

 

General admission is $5 for non-members, $3 for seniors, and children 5-12 years old are $3. General admission is free to members.  Winter rates are $1 off through March 13.

 

The Idaho Botanical Garden is dedicated fostering a love of nature and developing intellectual curiosity in people of all ages though botanical collections, music and art events, educational programs and seasonal celebrations.
