of the Year Awards
Small Business of the Year Awards
At our annual Small Business Celebration Day (June 24, 2010), the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce takes an entire day to recognize the many important contributions of small businesses in the Boise area! Without a doubt they are a crucial driving force in our economy and add to the creation of new jobs, products, and services. Each year at this event, the Boise Metro Chamber presents the Small Business of the Year Award.

The Small Business of the Year Award is presented to one winner from each of a few different categories, based on the nominees' number of full-time equivalent employees. Download the award application to the right for a full description of qualifications. These businesses are judged on the following criteria:
Staying power
Growth in number of employees
Increase in sales and/or unit volume
Innovativeness of product or service offered
Response to adversity
Contributions by company to aid community-oriented projects
Nominations are due by
May 7, 2010
