Congratulations to CSHQA On Becoming A 100+-Year Chamber Member!

CSHQA, an architecture and engineering firm, is celebrating 125 years of continuous operation!  It was established in 1889 as William S. Campbell Architects.  Boise had a population of about 2,300.  Campbell designed the Idanha Hotel in 1900 and Boise’s Central Fire Station with partner Charles W. Wayland in 1903.  James A. Fennel joined in 1904 the name changed to Wayland & Fennel Architects.  Wayland & Fennel joined the Boise Chamber in 1910.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, we were fortunate enough to receive amazing donations for our silent, live, and online auctions for our 130th Annual Gala last year. We are once again in need of great auction items for this year's Gala which will be the evening of Tuesday, October 7th at the Boise Centre.

Boise Chamber Receives Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve Seven Seals Award

The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce is the proud recipient of the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) Seven Seals Award. In a ceremony at the Hero2Hired military hiring fair at the Ford Idaho Center on Tuesday, September 9th, the Chamber was recognized for its sustained work in supporting the employment of military personnel throughout the Boise community.

Chamber Once Again Supports BOI Transportation Grant

Last year, the Chamber led the Boise Airport's effort to secure a $700,000 U.S. Department of Transportation grant to bring new non-stop service from Boise to an east coast hub airport. Unfortunately, that grant was not awarded to BOI but that didn't stop us from trying again! As part of the effort, the Chamber committed $10,000 and called upon the businesses of the Boise region to the pledge their support as well. The response was, once again, overwhelming. 

Leadership Boise Announces Class of 2016

Leadership Boise (LB), a program of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, last week announced their class of 2016. As one of the longest-running, Chamber-sponsored leadership programs in the United States, LB has graduated more than 1,400 business and civic leaders since its inception in 1976.

(Tops in Professional Sales) Leads Program could be a great fit for you. These are small groups that meet weekly all over the Boise Valley area to exchange current business information of interest to each other in the form of leads, as well as inform fellow group members about other businesses in the community.
