Meet Collin Rudeen, a Local Brewer with National Recognition

What makes Boise Brewing so unique to our city? It's not just about beer, it's also about you. They provide a one-of-a-kind experience for every person and member that walks through their door.

Boise Brewing was born in 2012 by Collin Rudeen who collaborated with Lance Chavez from Sockeye Brewing to work on receipes, scope out locations, and raise capital. After intial fundraising and kickstarter campaigns, Collin established Boise Brewing as a community-supported brewery. Much like a co-op, owners can buy "stock" in the brewery and be paid dividends in beer. Yes, beer.

And the rest is history! After 280 individual owners and businesses came on board, the brewery opened their door to the public in 2014, only two years later.

But the community support doesn't end with your financial buy-in. They partner back. Collin and Boise Brewing want to hear your poetry, host your band, and laugh along to your stand-up routine. They want to hang your art on the walls and even brew a custom batch of beer for your wedding. (Can this author get married again?!) They also host the annual Hoptober Freshtival, attracting more than 2,000 beer-goers and 30+ local and regional craft breweries. The community is invited to learn and taste from hop farmers in Idaho and beyond.

We invite you to not only stop by Boise Brewery soon, but meet Collin - the man behind the beer.
