Kathleen Jones Retires After 20 Years at the Chamber

Kathleen Jones has been a wonderful asset to the Chamber team for 20 years. After serving the Chamber and public, it's time for her to put down the phone and relax into retirement. In this month's Boise Metro Connection newsletter, Kathleen shared her thoughts on the Chamber and her time working here with us:

"I have so loved my position at the Chamber of Commerce. This was my first job and the fact that I wasn't fired the first year still amazes me! I drowned the phone system when a full glass of water accidentally tipped over and spilled onto the two phone panels, and then I broke the copier - all in my first few months of being on the job!

I have worked with the very best professionals. The Chamber staff really believes in our organization. Our members have the staff's full support and they always have the members' best interests at heart. I have seen how our staff enjoys celebrating our members' achievements and successes every day.

My front desk world of interacting with all of you with the daily smiles, hellos, conversations, and different personalities will truly be missed by me. It is time for new adventures but I will always treasure 'my Chamber family'.

Thank you for all the great memories!"

Kathleen will be missed by all of us here at the Chamber- thank you for 20 great years!
