John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting to Headline Boise Metro Chamber’s 132nd Annual Gala Dinner

The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter John Ondrasik from Five For Fighting will headline the Chamber’s 132nd Annual Gala Dinner on Friday, October 2nd, 2015. Ondrasik, best known for his hits “Superman” and “100 Years”, is an inspirational speaker who moves between podium and piano to create a musical conversation with the audience.

Ondrasik has produced six albums that have sold more than 2.5 million copies over the course of his career, including two platinum albums, America Town and The Battle For Everything. His platinum hit “Superman” served as the unofficial anthem after the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, reaching #1 on the Adult Top 40, #2 on Hot AC, and in the Top 40 Top 10. His hit “100 Years” went double platinum. Ondrasik’s songs have been featured in more than 350 films, TV shows, and advertisements, including “Chances”, which appeared in the 2009 Academy-Award winning film “The Blind Side”. Ondrasik is also a songwriter, having penned songs for artists from Josh Groban to The Backstreet Boys.
