Chamber Supports Vista Early Childhood Project

The Boise Chamber supports the Vista Early Childhood Project, a proposed partnership between the City of Boise, the Boise School District  and community partners, including United Way, to provide high-quality preschool in the Vista Neighborhood. Kids who are prepared upon entering school are statistically more likely to be successful readers, have better social and emotional health, are more likely to graduate from high school and go on to post-secondary education, and are less likely to commit crime as juveniles and adults.

This project is a part of a larger strategy in the Vista Neighborhood. As a part of the Energize our Neighborhoods initiative, the City of Boise is using data as a road map to leverage public and private investments to increase economic activity, provide additional services, and create measurable change at a neighborhood level.
On Jan. 27, Boise City Council gave tentative approval to the project scope, pending community support. United Way is asking for your support to make this a reality!

Show Boise City Council you endorse high-quality preschool in Boise with your donation. Any amount counts and will demonstrate support for this important work! For more info, or to donate to the fund, click here
