Boise Metro Chamber Announces Erin Nuxoll, J.R. Simplot Company, to Board of Directors

The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce today announced the selection of Erin Nuxoll, J.R. Simplot Company, to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Erin Nuxoll is senior vice president of human resources and a member of the senior leadership team at the J. R. Simplot Company.

“The Boise Chamber has been fortunate to have very top executives of the J.R. Simplot Company serve on our Board,” said Bill Connors, President & CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. “As SVP of Human Resources, Erin will be in a great position to articulate the benefits of the Chamber’s work throughout the Simplot organization. I appreciate the interest of CEO Bill Whitacre, and outgoing Board member Sue Richardson, in supporting Erin’s appointment to the Boise Metro Chamber Board.” 

Prior to joining Simplot in 2006, Nuxoll was vice president of human resources for the Boise Cascade Corporation. She spent 23 years with Boise Cascade starting as forester in northeast Washington before transitioning into human resources. Nuxoll moved to Boise in 1997 and served in several leadership roles at Boise Cascade during her tenure.

Nuxoll earned a Bachelor of Science degree in forest management from Washington State University and Master of Arts degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University.

Erin and her husband, Randy, live in Eagle where they enjoy the openness of their rural lifestyle and are active members in their community. Nuxoll has served on the board for Ballet Idaho and as board member and past president of FUNDSY.
