Community Service Awards
Held in conjunction with the 122nd Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, February 6, 2008 at the Boise Centre on the Grove.

The goal of the Corporate Stewardship Award is to showcase the most innovative examples of how Boise Chamber member companies "do well and do good" and how good management can deliver a wide variety of economic and social benefits.

A corporate steward is a company that follows the letter and spirit of the law and contributes actively to better the communities and locations in which it operates, promoting progress where economic and social objectives coincide to mutually support each other.

Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon
Scheduled for June 21, 2007, at the Boise Centre on the Grove, the spirit of the Small Business Award is to recognize businesses that have a history of outstanding business practices on the Boise community.  This award honors the entrepreneurship, sustainability, productivity and effort put forth in a small business.

All three winners of the 2007 Small Business Award are great examples of the entrepreneurial spirit so vital to the success of small business throughout the Boise metro area.  The Chamber of Commerce applauds their hard work, perseverance, and contributions to the community.

Boise Metro Golf Classic
    
    The 9^th annual Boise Metro Golf Classic was held on August 10, 2007 at SpurWing Country Club in Meridian.  Players and sponsors enjoyed a great day of golf and networking.

    The first place winner of the 2007 Golf Tournament was Huntington Learning Center.  The second place team was Home Federal Bank, and U.S. Bank took third place.  Shelli Stayer won the Longest Drive contest for women.  Dan Lodge won the men’s Longest Drive contest.  Tara Tandrow won the women’s Closest to the Pin contest and Weng Liew won the men’s Closest to the Pin contest.  Phil Herink won the Longest Putt contest, and Brian Jankowski won the Shortest Drive on the Fairway contest.
